Frozen Nutty Egg White Dessert
Ingredients:1 cup liquid egg whites
1/4 cup peanut flour or almond flour
1/2 scoop protein (I use MGN vanilla whey isolate)
5-8 drops of liquid stevia 1 tbsp flaxseeds
1-2 tbsp nut butter of choice (I use Mara Natha sunflower seed butter)
Instructions:
-Microwave the egg whites until cooked (usually around 4 minutes)
-Place bowl of cooked whites in the fridge for around 30 minutes to chill
-After cooling, in a new bowl/mug, crumble/mash/chop the chilled egg whites with either your hands or a spoon until it reaches a mushy consistency like cottage cheese
-Stir in your flour of choice, flaxseeds, protein powder, and stevia
-Place bowl in the freezer for about 30-40 minutes or until semi-hard
-Once semi-frozen, top with nut butter and devour!!
The peanut flour way is my favorite.
Great alternative for people with dairy issues! It comes out almost identical to cottage cheese in consistency and you can’t taste the eggs at all! I have this every night before bed
