I’ve always wanted to be a bodybuilder– ever since I can remember I was fascinated by the beautiful muscle on those atheletes. I just never knew how to achieve such beauty. After discovering weightlifting as an outlet for senior year high school stress/disordered thinking in 2010, I learned all there was to know about the sport thanks to books, articles, scientific journals, and websites like bodybuilding.com. With education came an even stronger passion for bodybuilding. I couldn’t afford a trainer at the time, so I relied on the knowledge I had acquired.
I seriously started lifting in February 2010 and I was making great progress. But then, over the summer of 2012, I derailed and lost almost all of the mass I had worked so hard to gain due to stress from the hardest college class of my life. Although it sucked, I learned perfection just wasn’t worth it and that I needed to put my body, my relationship with God, and my health back as my number one priority.
So in September 2012, with the support of my parents, I decided to commit to following my dreams by hiring a bodybuilding coach.
This journey is going to track my progress on the path to reaching my full potential. Dreams CAN come true!!
