the art of pooping in the ocean

 More on the title later….

YAY YAY YAY FOR LEXI!!! <3

It’s official: Lexi is the best apartment dog/beach babe EVER. Like I mentioned on Friday, my dad had stuff to do in Austin for work, and my parents and I had been discussing the idea of having Lexi come down and live with me, so we killed two birds with one stone! (that saying always creeped me out haha)

My dad swung by with the Lex-meister Saturday night and we were able to spend all day Sunday together going to the beach, eating crab, and just watchin football :D It was AWESOME. I loved having him visit!! My parents will visit officially in a month when my dad runs his first ever half marathon (WOOO!) down here in October. Until then, Lexi and I have a lot of catching up to do– I can’t wait to show her around!

I wish I had filmed her when she first saw the ocean on Sunday though. She was bounding in the water, chasing the waves, and nearly yanking my arm off when she’d bolt after seagulls.

Oh….and she pooped in the ocean cuz she got so excited…

:D

Needless to say, she slept like a ROCK that afternoon.

In other news, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the support on my progress post yesterday!!!! I’ve honestly never felt this amazing in my entire life and just knowing I have your friendship and support makes this journey even more magical :D

My leg day yesterday was FREAKING INSANELY AWESOME. I still can’t fathom what a difference it’s been just adding more calories. Looking back to this time last week, the mental fog I was in  just SUCKED. I actually have ENERGY now and the mental focus/drive that I’ve been working so hard to get back! AHH I think it’s only gonna go up from here and I can’t wait to share the journey with you all!

Well, I’m off to go take a walk with Lexi before I go to class…and maybe take some kooky pictures…

I’ll be back tomorrow with a special What I Ate Wednesday post dedicated to one of my favorite things :)

Until then, have a great Tuesday!!!! :D

  1. She is adorable!!! I can only imagine the energy in your house between you and those dogs!! I love it! You seriously make me smile every morning when I read your posts! :) BTW — bought dried mango at TJ’s yesterday to bring with me before my race this weekend……!!!What! What! :)

  2. Aww Lexi is so cute!! Do your parents still have Kovu? How exciting to have the dog there, I keep going back and forth about wanting to have a dog again, but I know I just don’t have the time right now. There is nothing better though than coming home to someone who never stops being excited to see you!!

  3. Hehe thank you for the laugh on this otherwise boring Tuesday morning… the title of your post just cracked me up :D And Lexi looks like such a sweetheart! That’s so awesome that you’ll be able to keep her with you, and even more awesome that you’re feeling so great! Hope you’re having a beautiful day, love!

  6. Gah, the mental fog:(, I think I’m holed up in this fog at the moment, & finding it difficult to pull myself out( afraid to eat more, blah). Although, you are really motivating! It is great to hear how wonderful you have been feeling lately.

Thanks for clearing up my question yesterday, about your future figure comp plans. I am SO rooting for you to pack on that much needed (sexaay) muscle, and rock/WIN your competition, whenever it may be!
    Xxx

    • Oh my goodness your supportive comment just made my entire day! Thank you so much!! And girl, I KNOW you can beat that mental fog, you’re strong and can conquer anything you set your mind to. I believe in you!!! :)

    • Me too. Complete mental fog :(
I can’t exercise , no energy and no concentration. And IBS bad :(
But I’m losing it at night and “binging” a lot (on “healthy” foods and fats and sugars, but my goodness, this is crazy).
And its not like I don’t eat a lot. I’m SO confused . If anyone wants to chat :)
