This past weekend was my first alone in Corpus and all I can say is WOW. So, I won’t bore you with emphatic words of joy and happiness, rather a photo dump

drove out to the island to watch the sunset
found a super cool shell out there and was stared at by at least 20 wild cats haha

typical saturday night: reruns on teen nick, ocean magazine reading, and my favorite frozen egg white/peanut flour/sunflower seed butter dessert. What can I say, I’m a party animal

SPROUTS!!! Ah I seriously cannot get enough of that place! I am definitely an ocean girl, I actually have never lived more than 10 minutes away from the beach! And I am a rower, so in my book sunrises are WAYYY better than sunsets

I’m a mix of all of the four; it depends on my mood! Except rarely do I like the desert haha. And definitely sunset even though I am a morning person!

I love thrift store shopping! It’s the best! I am definitely a huge ocean person. Especially at both sunrise and sunset. Just love it!

I’m kinda both an ocean and a mountain girl. I love watching sunsets more, because I’m never really up to watch the sun rise. 
Oh, and because I’m always more interested in people’s food, I’ve just gotta say.. I LOVE okra! Hope you show us what you make with that stuff!
I LOVEEEEE ROASTING IT! Toss it in olive oil, bake on a sheet for 30 minutes at 350*F until crispy and get ready for a foodgasm

I love being near water, but I’ve gotta say I’m a mountains girl. To me, sitting on a deck at a cottage in the mountains surrounded by trees = perfection, Plus you can’t beat the hiking!

Sprouts is THE best! I’m glad I’m back at school so I can take advantage of their cheap produce and awesome groceries! I gotta say I’m a huge fan of the ocean and desert–I wanna live in Cali or Arizona someday!

I’m so glad that you love HEB. It is officially my favorite store (has been for a while). We just got a HEB Plus built by our house and I am the happiest girl around. I especially love their bulk section and their variety of dairy alternatives like milks, ice creams, and yogurt!
Ahh YESSS there’s an HEB plus right down the road from me, that bulk area is to die for!!!!
