When you need a little push…

Hey everyone!

Man, I’m a bad blogger. Should you even call me a blogger anymore?? I feel so out of the loop! These last couple of weeks of chemistry have been killer. I got a 45 on the test I took Monday. That was with the curve. Ya, I’m kinda freaking out and worried I may not pass the course now.

Honestly, I can understand one year of organic chem, but TWO?! No. I resfuse to let it be considered “legal.”

In the little bit of free time I have, I’ve been watching the Olympics like a hawk, which makes studying all the more difficult. AND thanks to Julie on instagram, I’ve been introduced to the coolest phone app EVER. :D

Download that bad boy now, you can thank me later ;)

Anywho, all of the athletes have really been inspiring me to try to stay healthy and in the right frame of mind despite all of my class stress. It can be so easy to let that stress consume you, so I’ll take any positivity I can get. SOOOO I felt it necessary to do a complete motivational, picture filled post of some of the awesome men and women competing in the games!

I LOVE MISSY. SHE’S THE BOMB!!!

Man, if that doesn’t get ya amped, then I’ll call up this guy to hunt you down.

Here’s to finishing strong and keepin on the game face! Hope you all have a great rest of the week, you can find me in my study cave! :D

  1. You’re not a bad blogger, you’re a Busy blogger!!! Take time for yourself, you need it!! And I’ve been glued to the Olympics too…I LOVE Missy Franklin, and don’t think I didn’t cry watching the Gymnastics team competition last night :)

  2. These pictures are incredible, I am so glad you shared them because so far I have barely seen any of the olympics :( Don’t worry about taking a step back from blogging and spending time studying…it’s part of life and definitely something that needs to be done! :) Thinking of you :)

  3. I am sorry about the test, that class seriously sucks. I love those pictures. it really is motivating to see their hard work pay off. Thinking of you and all the amazing things you are doing daily

  4. I am olympics obsessed!!!!!!! and that Gabby Douglas chick is freakin redic. And so is taking 2 years worth of o-chem in one summer, if anything THAT move says to me, “fuck ya Imma take on the world!!” so keep pushing through and finish strong, you got this!

  5. Awww, sorry about the orgo test. I remember sitting around a table with all of my orgo 2 friends and crying together over a test once. But don’t worry, you’ll get through it! I loooove those pictures, seriously!

  6. Gahh you are soo close girl, you can do this! I am sorry about that test though, gosh orgo sucks the big one :( For me it was like learning advanced chemistry in a mythical language I could not understand… it doesn’t make sense at all if you ask me!
Love the motivation here though, again, you have this

  7. I’ve been pretty obsessed with the Olympics, too! Been hogging the TV and couch in the living room, telling my parents to let me have it since the Olympics only happen ever 4 years. lol ;)
We were all pretty glad that I was so obsessed, though, because last night we saw history be made as Phelps got his 19th medal! That guy is CRAZY. :D

  8. Whoo! Stay strong!
And speaking of, this afternoon I found an Olympics Workout Game. Example: Andy mention of an athlete’s mother=10 push ups. Your favorite athlete wins=10 burpees, ect
    Awesomesauce

  9. Thanks so much for this post – these images are truly stunning, and far more motivational (and healthy) than any of that Pinterest ‘fitspiration.’ I absolutely adore the shot of the weightlifter – if that’s not motivational I don’t know what is.

Try not to get too down about your chemistry result – you come across as a very bright woman and those exams sound incredibly intense. I am sure you can regroup personally for the next one and do very well indeed.

  10. oh man, you know that i understand a hatred of chemistry! i hated ochem and now i’m hating on microbio and bio … well not hating on the subjects, just the tests!
thanks for this olympics inspo – i totally needed it!
can’t wait for summer school to be over to have you back in full force!

    • YES! It’s not the subject I’m having issues with– o-chem is actually kinda making my inner nerd giddy with glee! It’s those gosh dang tests ugghhhh
Wishing you the best of luck too friend! <3
